Regular Meeting – November 18, 2025

Treasurer Ed Curtis called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Board members present:  Evan Byrum, Ed Curtis, Chris Domonkos, Kristen Foerster, Rick Izant, Linda Palchick, Sara Sustin, Mark Vidmar. Jason Abate and John Gromek were also present.

The minutes from the October 2025 meeting were presented by Monica Gromek. Mark Vidmar motioned to approve the minutes; Rick Izant seconded.  Vote was taken:    Evan Byrum, Ed Curtis, Chris Domonkos, Kristen Foerster, Rick Izant, Linda Palchick, Sara Sustin, Mark Vidmar. All in favor, motion carried.

Treasurer report - Ed Curtis

Treasurer Ed Curtis distributed the November 2025 treasurer’s report. The treasurer’s report showed: checking balance forwarded: $33,077.07; total disbursements: $40.00; total deposits: $217.13; ending checking balance: $33,254.20: available for appropriation: $56,265.64; total encumbered funds: $1,500.00; Improvement Fund: $23,769.93; Ending Savings Balance $24,511.44; Total Disbursements: $0; Deposits: $2.08.  Chris Domonkos motioned to accept the treasurer’s report. Mark Vidmar seconded.           Evan Byrum, Ed Curtis, Chris Domonkos, Kristen Foerster, Rick Izant, Linda Palchick, Sara Sustin, Mark Vidmar. All in favor, motion carried.

Rick Izant motioned the following bill be paid:

Chris Domonkos seconded the motion.  Evan Byrum, Ed Curtis, Chris Domonkos, Kristen Foerster, Rick Izant, Linda Palchick, Sara Sustin, Mark Vidmar. All in favor, motion carried.

Chris Domonkos motioned to unencumber $1,000.00 for the baseball field and Fall Festival.  Evan Byrum seconded.  Evan Byrum, Ed Curtis, Chris Domonkos, Kristen Foerster, Rick Izant, Linda Palchick, Sara Sustin, Mark Vidmar. All in favor, motion carried.

All fields are closed.  All nets are down.  The firefighters did not use the pavilion; it was too cold.

Maintenance – Jason Abate

All fields have been aerated and fertilized.  Lots and lots of leaves have been blown. Jason worked with Girl Scout Natalie George with her upcoming spring project.  All the volleyball posts have been pulled and judges boxes removed.  The sand will be left until the spring.  Chris Domonkos reports all AED’s have been removed as the winter is too cold for them. He also reports our website is up to date.

PARK RULES

Linda Palchick retyped all discussed updated information to bring the rules current.  Copies distributed to the Board for review. All were read and reviewed.  Ed Curtis suggested they be added to our website and posted in our park bulletin board. The Board thanked Linda for the rule's updates project.

PICKLE BALL

Ed Curtis distributed 3 monies scenarios for funding information regarding cost of pickleball court project. 

New Business – Kristen Foerster questioned the trail erosion at the river’s edge. This situation will be monitored over the winter.  There is a sunken backwards bench at the river by the baseball field. 

Ed Curtis motioned for meeting adjournment at 8:08 pm.  Kristen Foerster seconded. Meeting adjourned.  Next meeting at WG High school library on Tuesday, November 18th at 7:00 pm
