occer season finishes on 10/27/24; nets can then be taken down. No more dates for Pavilion usage for this year.

Discussion about a pavilion request for June 14, 2025 by Steve  DiFranco…for his son’s graduation party at the Pat Jasko pavilion for an estimated 200 people.  Large tent, table and chairs in parking lot with no stakes in ground, food truck, .  Possible parking at the church next door?  Discussion by board.  A damage waiver, higher deposit and security will be needed.  Saturday may be a better day as there are games on Sunday.  More garbage cans.  Board members should be present during set up.  The park is still open and closes at dark. Linda  Palchick will type all this information, for more discussion and approval at our November 2024 meeting.

Maintenance – Jason Abate

Jason removed 3 pear tree stumps and 1 tree near Walt Waetjen’s bench. Leaves falling and the grass continues to grow.

Website – Only approved meeting minutes can be posted to our website.

House Bill 47 – Board discussion on the new legislation concerning AED devices.  Chris Domonkos distributed AED information.            Question that each team’s coach is certified to use the device. Sarah Sustin asked if video information available on AED’s, because they can easily be stolen.  Chris Domonkos stated that air tags can be placed on the AED so if it stolen it can be traced.  Sarah also asked if a subcommittee is needed to explore our options to be compliant.

AED signs are needed at the site; also an emergency plan.  Possible park locations could be at our information board outside the pavilion and maybe a second near the volleyball/baseball area.

AED information has to be added to all our permits.  We could possibly asked support from Russell Township and the community.  Possibly a rep  from an AED company can come to a monthly board meeting for further explanations.

A lady called Linda Palchick concerned for the path walkers that additional benches could possibly be used.

Rick Izant motioned for meeting adjournment.  Ed Curtis seconded.  Vote was taken:  Evan Byrum, yes; Ed Curtis, yes; Chris Domonkos, yes; Kristen Foerster, yes; Rick Izant, yes; Linda Palchick, yes; Greg Poe, yes; Sara Sustin, yes.  All in favor, motion carried.

Respectfully submitted,
