West Geauga Commons Adds New Restroom Facility

The West Geauga Community Joint Recreation District Park Board is pleased to announce the grand opening of a new restroom facility at the West Geauga Commons. This new facility was funded by a Nature Works grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Recourses. The Park Board spent over two years working on this project that was led by Board Member Steve Averill who applied for the grant. The services of local companies including Chagrin Valley Engineering and CARR/Sidley Cement were used to complete the project. The WG Commons' new restroom is a substantial upgrade from its other restroom facility and has automatic locks that open at dawn and close at dusk. The additional accommodation is a long-awaited park feature that will be most appreciated by our regular walking and jogging patrons as well as the numerous athletic groups that use the various fields.
